Original job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Tim Hortons Associates to join our team. As a Tim Hortons Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.

The hourly wage for this role is $18.55. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, sandwiches, baked goods, and other menu items according to Tim Hortons standards.
Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health & safety procedures.
Restock products and supplies as needed.
Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational tasks.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Support hospital and Compass Group service standards.

Qualifications

Previous customer service or food service experience is considered an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established procedures.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
