Covering areas of Housekeeping, Laundry and Food Service to residents with memory and Health issues. We operate 7 days a week with hours between 6am-6:30 pm. Must be able to multi task, lift up to 20lbs, stand for extended periods. Must have reliable transportation and be available for shift work when scheduled, including holidays.
As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will
As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will
- Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
- Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
- You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
- Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

Requirements
A valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is required; housekeeping and food-service experience are assets, and healthcare or long-term-care experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to multitask, lift up to 20 pounds, stand for extended periods, work independently and with a team, communicate in English, follow instructions, and have reliable transportation and availability for scheduled shifts, including holidays.
