We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise initiatives across finance, operations, and technology. This role will be responsible for end-to-end requirements management, testing activities, and data analysis, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and experience working on large-scale integration and enterprise transformation projects.

Opportunity Overview

Lead requirements gathering activities including stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation.
Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Create and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flows.
Develop test strategies, write detailed test cases, and support System, UAT, and regression testing.
Execute testing activities, track defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure resolution.
Perform data analysis to support business decisions, reporting, and solution validation.
Read, interpret, and validate data as part of enterprise initiatives, including a large-scale internal back-office modernization initiative.
Support integration projects involving enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, Finance, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Maintain project and testing artifacts in alignment with SDLC and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Own the full requirements lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Ensure requirements are testable, traceable, and aligned with business objectives.
Design and execute test plans and test cases for enterprise applications.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Support data validation and reconciliation activities for system integrations.
Provide ongoing support during post-deployment and hypercare phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst role.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Hands-on experience writing and executing test cases for enterprise applications.
Proven experience working on data-driven projects and performing data analysis.
Experience working on integration projects involving multiple systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Power BI for reporting, data visualization, and business insights, is highly preferred.
Agile / Scrum delivery environments (e.g., Azure DevOps).
Experience with test management tools and defect tracking.
Data analysis using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Snowflake or similar tools.
Experience documenting business processes using Visio or similar tools.

Position Details

Position Title: Senior Business Analyst
Salary: 70,000.00 – 95,000.00
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hybrid: 4 in Office Days – Mississauga Ontario
