We’re looking for a Technology Solutions Architect to join our team.
The Solution Architect is a senior, customer-facing technical leader responsible for designing enterprise IT solutions and producing architecture deliverables. The role combines pre-sales leadership, technical consulting, solution design, and cross-functional coordination, with a primary focus on HPE Juniper Networking solutions for customers in French- and English-speaking Canadian markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead bilingual (English/French) technical sales engagements, discovery workshops, and solution evaluations.
- Drive the technical sales cycle from qualification through solution approval and deal closure.
- Present business value, technical differentiators, and solution recommendations to executive and technical stakeholders.
- Develop technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and statements of work.
- Design and architect enterprise networking solutions across campus, branch, data center, WAN, and secure connectivity environments using HPE Juniper technologies.
- Gather requirements and lead network assessments, architecture design, migration planning, resiliency strategies, and technology selection.
- Translate business, security, performance, and operational requirements into scalable network architectures.
- Create solution designs, technical documentation, bills of materials, implementation plans, and customer presentations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by leading customer meetings, supporting opportunity strategy, mitigating technical risks, and aligning solutions to business outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to ensure solution feasibility, delivery readiness, innovation, and adherence to networking best practices and emerging technologies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent in English and French Canadian, with the ability to lead customer-facing technical discussions, presentations, and written communications.
- 6+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, networking, systems integration, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience designing and architecting networking solutions using HPE Juniper technologies.
- Strong expertise in routing, switching, wireless, WAN, data center networking, high availability, and network security.
- Proven ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable, supportable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Experience developing architecture diagrams, solution documentation, bills of materials, implementation plans, and technical proposals.
- Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and build stakeholder consensus.
- Experience with enterprise networking architectures, large-scale customer engagements, partner-led sales motions, and multi-vendor solutions.
- Preferred: HPE, Juniper, or Aruba certifications; experience with Aruba networking, public/private cloud, virtualization, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and integrated compute, storage, and data center environments.
Wage Range
The annual starting salary for this position is between $112,500 – $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is also eligible for incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable Company plan.
