Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced End User Technology Solutions Architect to provide technical and architectural leadership across enterprise end-user computing and digital workplace technologies.

This role will be responsible for designing and evolving endpoint management solutions, establishing technology standards, supporting workplace technology deployments, and improving the overall end-user technology experience. The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert and senior technical escalation point, while providing technical guidance and mentorship to an implementation team.

The role requires a strong combination of hands-on End User Computing (EUC) expertise, solution architecture, endpoint management, automation, security, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert and technical lead for end-user computing and workplace technology solutions.
Provide Tier 3 technical support, troubleshooting, escalation management, and technical guidance to the implementation team.
Mentor technical team members and provide knowledge sharing related to endpoint technologies and deployments.
Provide input into implementation backlogs and help prioritize workplace technology deployments.
Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, technical documentation, knowledge-base articles, and training materials.
Contribute to the overall strategy and roadmap for the enterprise endpoint ecosystem.
Design high-level and detailed architectures for end-user technology solutions including laptops, mobile devices, printers, meeting room technologies, and virtualization.
Design endpoint management solutions, configuration standards, and deployment approaches aligned with enterprise, security, and business requirements.
Provide governance across the complete endpoint lifecycle from base image and configuration through deployment and ongoing support.
Participate in the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of standard and non-standard applications deployed to end-user devices.
Evaluate emerging workplace technologies and lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives.
Act as the technical owner for the end-user technology experience across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and meeting rooms.
Develop and maintain standards for meeting room technology and collaboration tools.
Identify performance issues affecting the end-user experience and recommend improvements to system performance, application delivery, and login speeds.
Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for end-user technology environments.
Support the end-to-end hardware lifecycle, ensuring devices are appropriately tracked, maintained, and upgraded.
Support software licensing management, allocation, utilization, and compliance.
Partner with Information Security teams to ensure endpoint solutions align with corporate cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate on identity and authentication technologies including Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, MFA, and passwordless authentication.
Develop automated workflows for endpoint provisioning and patching to reduce manual activities and support zero-touch deployments.
Provide technical leadership for migrations, operating system rollouts, and workplace technology upgrades.
Act as a technical point of contact for vendors, affiliated technology teams, and internal support groups.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:

University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
6+ years of progressive experience in End User Computing (EUC), IT infrastructure architecture, systems engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience leading end-user technology changes and implementations and mentoring technical team members.
Strong hands-on architectural experience with enterprise endpoint management technologies such as:

Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune
HCL BigFix
VMware
Virtual Apps and Desktops
AWS End User Computing

Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and enterprise endpoint environments.
Experience with macOS, iOS, Android, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
Experience with meeting room hardware and collaboration technologies, including configuration and support.
Familiarity with identity technologies including Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and Okta.
Strong understanding of endpoint security principles and enterprise security requirements.
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
Experience with application packaging, provisioning, patching, and endpoint deployment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex Tier 3 technical issues.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates should bring hands-on expertise in enterprise endpoint management, Windows and mobile environments, identity and security, scripting and automation, application deployment, and complex troubleshooting.
