Position Overview: We have established the foundational components of its Enterprise Architecture Practice and are seeking an experienced consultant to help operationalize, institutionalize, and mature the practice. The focus of this engagement is on delivering practical, sustainable, and measurable capabilities.
This is a hands-on implementation-focused engagement rather than a strategy or advisory-only role. This is a
3 month primarily remote position with occasional travel to the office so candidates from
Red Deer, Calgary or Edmonton are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an Enterprise Architecture SharePoint Site and Service Portal.
- Develop and operationalize Architecture Request and Intake processes.
- Build architecture communications and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Establish architecture governance visibility and service delivery processes.
- Define architecture metrics, KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting processes.
- Develop executive reporting and architecture performance reporting capabilities.
- Implement architecture service management frameworks and service-level measures.
- Create architecture repository and knowledge management capabilities.
- Support architecture governance processes, review boards, decision records, and standards management.
- Deliver sustainable processes, templates, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Translate architecture concepts into practical operational capabilities.
- Deliver solutions that are sustainable and maintainable after engagement completion.
- Build lightweight, scalable, and user-friendly processes.
- Focus on implementation and adoption rather than documentation alone.
- Demonstrate successful examples of architecture operationalization with measurable business outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications: Candidates should demonstrate:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Architecture Governance, Architecture Operations, Technology Strategy, Service Management, or related disciplines.
- Experience establishing, operationalizing, or maturing Enterprise Architecture practices.
- Strong Enterprise Architecture governance and review board experience.
- Experience developing architecture service catalogues, operating models, and intake processes.
- Architecture repository and knowledge management experience.
- Architecture communications and stakeholder engagement experience.
- KPI development, scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Architecture service management framework experience.
- Strong SharePoint Online experience, including information architecture and collaboration solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with executives, architects, technology teams, and business stakeholders.

- TOGAF Certified Practitioner (or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification)
- ArchiMate Certification
- ITIL Foundation or higher
- Certified Business Architect (CBA) or equivalent
