Position summary:

The Senior quality specialist is committed to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of quality across Comtech Allerium business, operations, products and services. The Senior quality specialist role is vital to ensuring that Comtech products and services meet ISO 27001: 2022, NIST 800-53 r5, ISO 9001 & TL 9000 Quality standards and guidelines. This position requires a dynamic individual with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. Functions include analyzing and optimizing processes across various areas of the company, identifying trends for areas of improvement, drafting comprehensive quality reports, and educating team members on quality protocols. This role must maintain a desire to influence quality from the ground up and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality management systems and processes.
Collaborating with various departments to drive initiatives that enhance Comtech Quality objectives.
Manage the overall audit program for the organization.
Facilitate regular audits and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality and security standards.
Manage relationships and oversight with internal and external auditors.
Prepare and coordinate audit and certification reports with auditors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Prepare documentation and present reports on quality metrics and performance.
Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality standards and procedures.
Coordinate with internal/external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
Maintain documentation related to quality management systems.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.

Requirements:

Experience with statistical analysis and quality control tools.
Proven track record of managing quality improvement projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in manufacturing or service industry.
Proficiency in using quality management software.
Ability to facilitate audits and conduct inspections.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience with business process formation and enhancement.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management or a related role
Familiarity with Business Process Modeling (e.g., BPMN 2.0)
Experience with quality standards, security frameworks, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001: 2022, NENA, NIST 800-53 r5, ISO & TL 9000, etc.)
Governance Risk & Compliance knowledge while working with GRC tools experience a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field
