Role Details

Work Location – Saskatoon
Shift - Monday to Friday
Hours - 1:30pm - 10pm
Hourly Rate – $29.12/hr and after probation $33.12/hr

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shunter drives the shunt truck, attached trailers, and moves trailers around the yard, to and from loading docks as needed.

Responsibilities

Drive shunt truck and attach trailers.
Connect shunt truck to trailer, drive trailer to bay followed by trailer detachment.
Connect/Disconnect air lines, maneuver jack stands and power chocks into position, and engage trailer dolly via crank.
Responsible for pulling cases of product based on pick ticket information to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks
Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
Adhere to all manufacturing practices and safety standards
Responsible for meeting productivity requirements
Stage completed pallets in designated area

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of general work experience required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Position is available by seniority
Physical requirements include frequent sitting, with occasional walking and standing.
