About This Opportunity

Shape the people strategy behind Canada’s local bottler

This is an opportunity to influence leaders, strengthen the employee experience and help shape the future of a proudly Canadian, family-owned business.

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner is a trusted advisor to business and executive leaders. You will translate business priorities into practical people strategies across workforce planning, employee relations, talent, organizational effectiveness and change.

You will bring sound judgment, courage and a people-first approach - confidently coaching and challenging leaders while remaining close enough to the business to turn strategy into meaningful action.

Responsibilities

Build trusted relationships with business and executive leaders, providing strategic advice, coaching and constructive challenge.
Lead complex employee-relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, conflict resolution and terminations.
Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, performance management and employee engagement.
Support organizational change, restructures and workforce transitions with empathy, clarity and appropriate risk management.
Interpret employment legislation, company policies and HR best practices to guide fair, consistent decisions.
Use workforce data and insights to identify trends, strengthen talent decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.
Develop thoughtful change and communication strategies that help employees and leaders navigate business transformation.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to support workforce needs and an inclusive, candidate-focused recruitment experience.
Contribute to HR programs, policies, communications and process improvements that strengthen the employee experience.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
Three to five years of progressive HR experience, including meaningful employee-relations and HR business-partnering responsibilities.
Demonstrated experience directly supporting, advising and influencing executive leaders within an HR role.
Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and employee-relations practices.
Experience coaching leaders through complex, sensitive and high-impact people decisions.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, hands-on execution.
Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
Sound judgment, discretion and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.

Assets

Experience supporting a technology client group.
Experience working in a unionized environment.
CHRP or CHRL designation, or progress toward certification.
French-language capability.

Together we are creating a workplace culture that values diversity, enables inclusivity and ensures everyone feels like they belong. We are aiming to ensure our diverse workforce is reflective of the communities in which we operate. If this role excites you, even if you don’t check every box, we encourage you to apply. Your unique experience and perspective could be what we’re looking for. Unless otherwise specified, this job post is for an existing vacancy.
