Original job description

Conexiom is on a mission to eliminate the manual work holding manufacturers and distributors back. Our Intelligent Order Automation platform - powered by CoreAI, trained on over one billion line items a year - transforms how enterprise sales teams operate, freeing them from data entry so they can focus on what actually moves the needle: revenue. With 20+ years of innovation, a Microsoft Azure foundation, and SOC 2 Type II certification, we build products our customers trust at scale. If you want to work on technology that creates immediate, measurable impact for the people using it every day, you're in the right place.

About the Opportunity

This role exists because Conexiom is scaling how it creates pipeline, and there's a set of large distributors and manufacturers we haven't broken into yet. You'll own outbound for a defined list of named accounts - deciding who to target, when, and with what message - and work shoulder-to-shoulder with Account Executives to turn that work into qualified meetings. You'll report to our Head of Demand Generation and sit at the intersection of Sales and Marketing, running account-based plays that span both teams; this cross-functional reach is a bigger part of the job here than at a typical BDR seat. In year one, success looks like a steady, repeatable cadence of accepted meetings, a core set of named accounts fully multithreaded, and a playbook of what's working - in messaging, sequencing, and signal-based timing - that becomes the template future BDRs run.

What You'll Do

Owns outbound pipeline generation for a defined set of named accounts, prioritizing distributors above $1B and manufacturers above $10B in revenue, in partnership with Account Executives.
Builds and runs account-based plays that multithread 3–7 stakeholders per account, from Director through C-level, across Customer Service, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Finance/AP, and IT.
Times outreach to real buying signals - ERP changes, acquisitions, new leadership, CSR hiring, growth announcements, and website engagement - instead of running generic cadences.
Works every channel - phone, email, LinkedIn, personalized video, and event follow-up - with cold calling as a core, non-negotiable part of the role.
Partners with Marketing on campaigns, events, webinars, and co-marketing for top-tier accounts, and follows up quickly while engagement is warm.
Uses AI daily for account research, signal monitoring, list building, persona mapping, and first drafts, then adds judgment so every message reads as researched and human.
Qualifies and hands off cleanly for fit, pain, priority, and buying power, booking meetings that Account Executives actually accept.
Tests and shares what works - new messaging, sequences, and objection handling - feeding results back to the broader team.
Keeps Salesforce clean and current, because the data entered is the data the team runs on.

What You Bring

A proven track record of outbound success in a quota-carrying BDR, SDR, or similar role - meetings booked and pipeline sourced you can point to.
Hands-on experience multithreading enterprise accounts through long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
Working fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT or Claude) and prospecting platforms such as Clay, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Confidence on the phone and the ability to write short, specific messages that senior buyers actually respond to.
Grit and coachability - you treat a "no" as information, not a stop sign, and keep moving.
Curiosity about how businesses operate and the ability to learn a technical product and market quickly.

Nice to Have

Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or ERP systems (e.g., Epicor P21).

Why Conexiom

Impactful Work

You won't be maintaining the status quo here. Conexiom is actively changing how manufacturers and distributors operate at scale - eliminating the manual, error-prone processes that slow businesses down and cost real money. The work you do has a direct line to outcomes customers can measure, and teams you'll never meet will work better because of it.

Real Growth, Not Just a Title

We're on a rapid growth trajectory, which means the opportunities you create here are yours to own. High performers don't wait for a seat at the table - they build one. If you're someone who runs toward complexity and wants your contributions to shape the direction of a scaling company, you'll find room to grow.

A Culture That Actually Includes You

Inclusive culture isn't a talking point for us - it's something we actively build. That means hiring for diverse perspectives, creating space for candid conversations, and holding ourselves accountable to an environment where different backgrounds and ways of thinking make the work better. We're not perfect, but we're committed.

Conexiom is an equal opportunity employer. We believe the best teams are built from diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences - and we're committed to creating an environment where everyone can do their best work.

If you don't meet every qualification listed, apply anyway. We hire for skills, experiences, and accomplishments - not where you've been, but what you've done.

If you require accommodations at any point during the recruitment process, please reach out to our People team at hrrequests@conexiom.com. We're happy to help.
