Original job description

At Conexus, we are focused on supporting our members with their needs of today, while also helping them pursue their goals for the future. It’s more than conducting a banking transaction, it’s about providing insightful content, tools, expert advice, and a full suite of products to inspire confidence in their financial decision-making. We prioritize performance excellence, and our employees champion each member’s success, ultimately contributing to a thriving province.

We are curious, courageous, confident and committed. Our values ensure we consistently deliver outstanding member experiences. As employees, we are more than just individuals who come to work each day, each role is a vital part of Conexus.

As of January 1, 2026, Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy credit unions have merged into one provincial credit union serving over 200,000 members in 57 branches across 50 Saskatchewan communities.

We acknowledge that our Conexus offices and facilities are located on Treaty 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 lands. These are the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and Saulteaux peoples, as well as the homeland of the Métis.

The bigger picture

We’re looking for a dynamic and business-minded individual to come on board as our Branch Manager to support our Yorkton Branch, located in Yorkton, SK. Your strong interpersonal skills and ability to think strategically will play an essential role in leading your branch to provide and oversee the delivery of services to meet our members’ needs.

How you’ll be spending your time

Developing, coaching, and empowering your branch to ensure the team’s delivery of world-class member advice and experiences
Providing your team with the knowledge and skills to meet members’ needs and positively impact their financial goals
Ensuring your branch delivers financial service solutions that comply with both industry and operational policies, compliance requirements and legislation, while working towards strategic objectives
Developing and promoting a strong sales culture, while monitoring and adhering to branch targets, goals and budgets
Nurturing and maintaining relationships with internal partners and external providers
Promoting an environment that continually seeks and identifies opportunities for improvements
Supporting a branch within a unionized environment and fostering positive employee relations

The way people describe you

You are a natural born leader with the ability to motivate, engage and inspire others. Your critical thinking skills allow you to make logical and informed decisions, uncovering and addressing all emerging risks and opportunities. In addition, you are a skilled communicator, dedicated to personal growth and development, as well as the development of those around you.

The experience you bring

Experience as a people manager and the ability to engage your team
Experience in both personal and small business banking, is an asset
Solid sales management experience and the ability to market Conexus in your community
The ability to build strong relationships focused on providing a great member experience and growing relationships with new and existing members
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience leading or working with unionized teams, including familiarity with collective bargaining agreements would be considered an asset

Salary Range

$86,060 - $126,140 with a 15% Short Term Incentive Target

Benefits & Perks

The success of our members relies heavily on the performance and accomplishments of our employees. That’s why we prioritize offering our team a variety of perks and benefits designed to support their success and well-being both at work and in their personal lives. Some of these additional benefits may include, but are not limited to:

Preferred rates for all your banking needs, helping to make life more affordable.
Vacation benefits, giving you time to spend on what’s most important to you.
Competitive benefit package options covering all aspects of personal wellness.
Pension matching to support you toward retirement.

We are excited to welcome candidates who bring a blend of academic, professional and volunteer experience that sets them apart. Research shows that many applicants tend to apply only when they meet every qualification of the role. However, we encourage you to explore opportunities that closely match your skillset and experience. We truly value diverse backgrounds and varied experiences, as we are dedicated to creating inclusive and diverse workplaces. You might just be the ideal addition to our team that we’ve been searching for! This opportunity closes on November 23, 2026 so apply now! If you have questions about this position, please contact Diane Laflamme at jobs@conexus.ca.
