Original job description

At Cultivator, we empower entrepreneurs to grow their ideas into transformative businesses. Through our two core programs - our Saskatchewan’s Tech Incubator and the globally recognized Agtech Accelerator - we drive innovation and sustainable growth. Whether providing collaborative workspaces, expert mentorship, or valuable connections, we support founders at every stage of their journey.

Growing Our Tech Ecosystem
Our START, BUILD, GROW, and SCALE programs provide tailored support to help entrepreneurs validate ideas, develop strategies, attract investment, and expand into new markets. This approach ensures our community’s tech ecosystem thrives, fostering innovation across industries and creating impactful businesses.

Advancing Agricultural Innovation
Rooted in Saskatchewan’s agricultural heartland, our Agtech Accelerator brings together startups, producers, investors, and industry leaders to transform farming practices. By cultivating Canadian agtech solutions, attracting world-class innovation, and supporting technology adoption, we’re driving global sustainability and reinforcing Canada’s position as a leader in agriculture.

Together, we’re cultivating the future of innovation.

The bigger picture

We’re looking for a dynamic and collaborative person to come on board as our Community and Partners Manager at our College Avenue location in Regina, Saskatchewan.

In this role, you will own the day-to-day development and management of Cultivator’s community and stakeholder relationships, building strong connections with partners, sponsors, funders, and the broader ecosystem. You will lead fund development execution - identifying and cultivating new funding opportunities, developing proposals and sponsorships, securing funding, and stewarding partner relationships to support renewals and build a strong, diversified and sustainable funding base.

Due to the entrepreneurial nature of this role, flexible work hours are required.

How you’ll be spending your time

Building and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and startup ecosystem stakeholders, while identifying new opportunities for connection, collaboration, and community engagement.
Developing and activating sponsorship and partnership opportunities that create mutual value, including delivering on commitments and reporting outcomes to partners.
Supporting the planning and delivery of programs, events, and experiences that create value for founders, partners, and the broader startup community.
Coordinating community communications and marketing initiatives that strengthen the Cultivator brand and help engage founders, partners, and stakeholders.
Driving operational projects and process improvements that support efficient, effective program and partnership delivery.
Contributing to Cultivator’s long-term sustainability by supporting fundraising and revenue-generating initiatives, budgeting, and reporting.

The way people describe you

You are a resourceful, driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong sense of ownership to your work. You think strategically, exercise sound judgment, and take a self-directed approach to problem solving, building strong partnerships and influencing effectively to move Cultivator forward. People often comment on your ability to foster genuine connections with partners, stakeholders, and teammates alike. You are proactive, highly accountable, and known for staying ahead of priorities, navigating competing demands, and turning ideas into action.

The experience you bring

Post-secondary education in business administration or related discipline, or a compelling combination of experience, education, and credentials.
Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management
Experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or entrepreneurship-related experience.
Experience in the startup ecosystem is an asset.
Experience managing a budget is an asset

Salary Range:

$76,210 - $101,610 with 10% Short Term Incentive Target

Benefits and perks

The success of our members relies heavily on the performance and accomplishments of our employees. That’s why we prioritize offering our team a variety of perks and benefits designed to support their success and well-being both at work and in their personal lives. Some of these additional benefits may include, but are not limited to:

Generous vacation benefits, giving you time to spend on what’s most important to you
Competitive benefit package options, covering all aspects of personal wellness
Pension matching to support you towards retirement
Preferred rates for all your banking needs, helping to make life more affordable

We are excited to welcome candidates who bring a blend of academic, professional and volunteer experience that sets them apart. Research shows that many applicants tend to apply only when they meet every qualification of the role. However, we encourage you to explore opportunities that closely match your skillset and experience. We truly value diverse backgrounds and varied experiences, as we are dedicated to creating inclusive and diverse workplaces. This opportunity closes on November 19, 2026 so apply now! If you have questions about this position, please contact Aubrie Houk at jobs@conexus.ca.
