EPBCS Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced EPBCS Architect to lead the design, implementation, deployment, and support of Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) solutions for the NBME implementation project. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud, financial planning processes, complex business rules, data integrations, and end-to-end EPBCS implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end EPBCS implementation, configuration, and deployment across Finance, Project Planning, Capital Expenditure (CapEx), and Workforce Planning modules.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy EPBCS applications aligned with business requirements.
• Lead financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts.
• Develop and manage EPBCS artifacts, including dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules, security, navigation flows, and workflows.
• Develop, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain calculation scripts, Groovy scripts, Calculation Manager rules, and scripting templates.
• Manage data integrations using Data Management, Data Exchange, REST APIs, and other Oracle EPM Cloud tools.
• Analyze existing complex business rules and Groovy logic, and modify them to meet changing business requirements.
• Develop and maintain batch scripts, Smart View templates, HFR reports, and data reconciliation templates.
• Manage daily and monthly job executions, troubleshoot failures, resolve EPBCS issues, and support incident management.
• Define project scope, estimate delivery budgets, manage implementation timelines, and coordinate project teams.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure application performance, data accuracy, security, and adherence to software development and support methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience, with strong expertise in Oracle EPM and EPBCS.
• Proven track record of at least 5 end-to-end EPBCS implementations across Finance, Project Planning, CapEx, and Workforce Planning.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud architecture, configuration, implementation, and production support.
• Expertise in Calculation Manager, Essbase calculation scripts, Groovy scripting, and complex business rule development.
• Hands-on experience with Data Management, Data Exchange, Smart View, REST APIs, and data integration processes.
• Experience in HFR report development, Smart View reporting, and data reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in batch scripting, job monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Proven experience in project delivery, team management, and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
