About the Opportunity

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced technology leader to guide technology strategy, strengthen operational capabilities and support business priorities.

This role combines strategic leadership with practical execution. The successful candidate will work with senior stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, prioritize investments and lead initiatives that improve how technology supports the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Business Partnership

• Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Partner with business leaders to understand needs, evaluate opportunities and establish priorities.
• Provide clear recommendations on technology investments, resources and risk.
• Set measurable objectives and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.

Technology Operations and Delivery

• Oversee the performance, reliability and ongoing improvement of technology services and business systems.
• Lead technology initiatives from planning through implementation and adoption.
• Manage external partners and vendors to support service quality, delivery and value.
• Balance operational needs with longer-term improvements.

Information and Innovation

• Improve how information is managed, accessed and used to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve productivity through technology.
• Evaluate emerging capabilities, including AI and automation, and pursue those with a clear business case.
• Promote responsible practices for the use and protection of organizational information.

Leadership and Risk Management

• Lead and develop technology talent, fostering accountability, collaboration and service.
• Establish appropriate policies, standards and controls.
• Oversee technology risk management, security and operational resilience.
• Build strong relationships across the organization and support effective change management.

Qualifications

• Substantial progressive technology experience, including leadership responsibility for strategy, operations and delivery.
• Demonstrated success leading technology improvements in an established organization.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Power Platform.
• Hands-on expertise in data architecture, warehousing, integrations, governance and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure and cloud services.
• Experience evaluating and delivering practical AI and automation initiatives.
• Experience managing technology budgets, vendors and implementation partners.
• Sound understanding of cybersecurity and IT risk frameworks, such as NIST or CIS, along with privacy and business continuity practices.
• Ability to translate technical considerations into clear business recommendations.
• Strong judgment, communication and relationship-building skills.
• A practical leadership style and a track record of delivering meaningful results.
