Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Documentation: Translate preliminary concepts, master plans, and sketches into comprehensive, precise construction documentation and working drawings
  • Project Coordination: Support project managers from initial feasibility and design phases through to contract administration
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact, effectively communicating and liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal leadership
  • Building Science Application: Ensure all designs comply with current building codes, zoning bylaws, and advanced technical standards, keeping a sharp eye on sustainable detailing

What You Bring to the Table

  • Education & Experience: A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Architectural Science, or a related field, backed by 7+ years of progressive professional experience
  • Sector Expertise: Proven experience working on large-scale commercial, retail, mixed-use, or institutional developments
  • Advanced Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Revit is required for this role, as you will be working extensively within a BIM environment. Familiarity with AutoCAD and design suites (like Adobe Creative Cloud) is highly valued
  • Technical Acumen: Deep knowledge of building science, construction assemblies, detailing, and the Ontario Building Code (OBC).
  • Communication & Drive: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. OAA membership or eligibility is considered a strong asset

What’s in It for You?

  • Flexibility: A structured hybrid work model tailored for modern work-life balance
  • Career Growth: Clear pathways for professional advancement and mentorship from seasoned industry experts.
  • Culture: A friendly, inclusive, and spirited team culture that celebrates creative technical execution.
  • Compensation: A highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

To Apply

If you are passionate about building science and ready to elevate your career with a premier Canadian firm, we want to hear from you.
