Sr Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Sr Finance Manager to lead financial reporting activities and support sound business decision-making in Thornhill, Ontario. This role is well suited to a finance specialist who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to improve reporting quality, strengthen controls, and deliver timely insights. The successful candidate will work across systems and stakeholders to ensure accurate results, effective analysis, and dependable financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Oversee core accounting operations and provide guidance on reporting matters, reconciliations, and period-end close activities.
• Analyze financial results, earnings trends, and key performance indicators to support leadership with meaningful recommendations.
• Manage and enhance reporting processes within ERP and related accounting platforms to improve efficiency and data reliability.
• Review account balances, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve reporting issues, respond to ad hoc financial requests, and deliver clear analysis for business planning.
• Contribute to finance-related process changes or system updates when required, ensuring reporting continuity and proper documentation.

Requirements:

• CPA designated
• Experience working in distribution, retail or wholesale organization
• experience with financial reporting as well as budgeting and forecasting
• Ability to automate processes or utilize AI for process efficiencies.

Salary range - $140-150K base
