Original job description

We’re designing and building advanced technology for rugged applications in defense, space, aviation and mobility - and we’re doing it with speed, creativity, and real engineering depth. If you’re an engineer who loves solving hard physics problems, shipping real hardware, and seeing your work operate in the real world, you’ll fit right in. Join a focused, fun team where your ideas matter and your designs don’t just sit in simulations - they deploy. If you are looking for your next challenge with a fast growing, mission-driven team where collaboration is real, hierarchy is minimal, and your work goes from whiteboard to field, apply today.

Role Description

As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing devices that combine electronics and mechanical systems. You will work on projects involving the integration of sensors, controllers, and actuators to create automated systems. Day-to-day tasks might include prototyping, building, testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting mechatronic systems.

Qualifications

  • Software for Autonomy and Electro mechanics skills
  • Electrical Sensor design (LIDAR, RADAR, Vision, etc)
  • Experience in debugging, programming and system architecture
  • Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, AI/Edge, Python, and MATLAB
  • Experience with sensors, controllers, and actuators
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including motion control, control theory, and dynamics
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with certification processes and standards (an asset)
  • Security check for CGP required
