You'll have the opportunity to work with different departments across the resort and get involved in a little bit of everything.
What You'll Be Doing
- Help managers find the right people for their teams, from posting vacancies to arranging interviews.
- Make sure new starters have a smooth introduction to the resort and their roles.
- Keep employee training, development and certification records organised.
- Assist with payroll processing, benefits and employee queries using Dayforce.
- Be someone employees can approach for advice, support or general HR questions.
- Get involved in staff recognition, team events and initiatives that bring everyone together.
- Look after employee files and help ensure the business follows employment legislation.
- Coordinate staff accommodation arrangements, including arrivals, departures and related payroll deductions.
- Help managers with performance reviews and other people-related projects.
- Support health and safety administration and keep relevant records up to date.
About You
- You've got some experience in HR or people administration, ideally in a hotel, resort or hospitality environment.
- You're comfortable working with payroll, employee records and HR systems. Dayforce experience is an advantage.
- You have a good understanding of HR processes and BC employment standards.
- You're approachable and enjoy helping people.
- You're organised, detail-oriented and good at keeping on top of different priorities.
- You can handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
- You're happy working independently but also enjoy being part of a close-knit team.
