About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Multi-platform Content Scheduler to support the scheduling and operational management of content across our on-demand and FAST channel platforms.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Multi-platform Content, this role is responsible for building and maintaining content schedules, ensuring content availability aligns with programming priorities and rights windows, supporting platform quality control, and coordinating content updates across internal and external partners.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with an interest in streaming, television operations, and digital content management who enjoys working with schedules, systems, and data in a fast-paced environment.
You will contribute by:
- VOD Content Scheduling
- Create and maintain weekly VOD schedules across streaming platforms.
- Ensure content availability aligns with linear schedules and approved rights windows.
- Issue metadata updates, program adjustments, and takedown notices as required.
- Coordinate content availability changes with internal stakeholders and distribution partners.
- Monitor scheduled content and resolve scheduling discrepancies.
- FAST Channel Scheduling
- Build and maintain weekly schedules for FAST channels.
- Manage content rotations, collections, and channel lineups.
- Support long-range planning of channel schedules and content inventories.
- Make schedule adjustments based on programming priorities and operational requirements.
- Monitor channel presentation and ensure schedules are executed accurately.
- Content Operations & Quality Control
- Conduct routine QC checks across VOD and FAST platforms.
- Verify metadata accuracy, episode sequencing, rights availability, and platform presentation.
- Track the availability of newly delivered content and ensure timely scheduling.
- Troubleshoot scheduling and content issues and escalate where necessary.
- Assist with merchandising across platforms as needed
- Partner & Stakeholder Coordination
- Work with internal and external partners, including BDUs, platform partners, and vendors, on operational scheduling, distributing lookback grids, and content delivery matters.
- Support launches of new content, channels, and promotional initiatives.
Skills and experience you will bring:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in television, digital media, streaming, scheduling, media operations, or content management.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and scheduling systems.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and manage competing priorities.
- Experience with VMS, CMS, ARI, or similar content management systems.
- Knowledge of content rights and windowing.
- Experience with FAST channels, streaming platforms, or broadcast scheduling.
- Passion for television and digital content.
