Original job description

Associate Orthodontist

Join a High Quality, Community-Focused Orthodontic Practice on Beautiful Vancouver Island!

Tremblay Orthodontics – Port Alberni and Qualicum Beach, British Columbia

Are you an enthusiastic and caring orthodontist looking for a fulfilling career opportunity? Tremblay Orthodontics is excited to welcome an Associate Doctor who is passionate about personalized care, modern clinical excellence, and building connections with patients, their families, and the communities it serves.

For 19 years, our practice has been trusted by families across Vancouver Island for our friendly approach and commitment to creating healthy, confident smiles. As we continue to serve our expanding patient community, we are looking for an Associate Doctor who shares our values and wants to contribute to our warm, highly collaborative team environment. This opportunity offers full-time clinical days across our Port Alberni and Qualicum Beach locations, supported by a skilled, long-standing team. You’ll step into a practice where your voice matters, your growth is supported, and your impact on the community is very meaningful.

Why Vancouver Island?

Vancouver Island is one of Canada’s most breathtaking and sought after regions, offering a relaxed West Coast lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty. Port Alberni and Qualicum Beach provide the perfect combination of small community warmth and access to incredible outdoor adventure – from ocean beaches and kayaking to hiking, cycling, fishing, and year-round recreational opportunities.

Residents enjoy mild weather, a slower pace of life, welcoming neighbourhoods, and strong community ties. With excellent affordability relative to major Canadian cities, expanding local amenities, and stunning natural landscapes in every direction, Vancouver Island offers and extraordinary quality of life for individuals, professionals, and families.

Whether you’re drawn to nature, community, or work-life balance, Vancouver Island is an incredible place to live, grow, and build a long-term career.

About the Role:

In this role, you’ll work closely with Dr. Bryce Tremblay, an experienced, well respected and patient-centered orthodontist known for delivering personalized treatment plans using full spectrum modern orthodontic solutions. Supported by a cohesive and highly capable clinical and administrative team, you will step into a well-oiled practice where everything just ‘clicks’. You’ll also enjoy strong community relationships, efficient systems, and a reputation for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

What We Offer through Corus Orthodontists Doctor Excellence Program:

✅ Mentorship That Matters – Work shoulder-to-shoulder alongside Dr. Bryce Tremblay and receive personalized coaching from top Corus doctors in clinical care, leadership, and business.

✅ Tailored Clinical Development Plan – Access a roadmap with key clinical milestones and resources designed to support your professional growth.

✅ Connection & Collaboration – Tap into a vibrant community of like-minded orthodontists for ongoing learning and support.

✅ Robust Rewards – Enjoy a competitive day rate, bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

✅ Path to Partnership – A clear and supported route to becoming a principal doctor, at your own pace.

At Corus, we don’t just offer associate doctor positions - we offer a true pathway to partnership. Our model is designed to make ownership more accessible to you through a lower, more flexible buy-in structure, giving you the chance to build equity without taking on the full weight of running a practice alone.

As part of our network, you’ll have access to top doctor mentors who are invested in your growth, as well as a community that values continuing education, clinical excellence, and the latest technological advancements. When the time is right, you’ll have the opportunity to step into ownership with a significant equity stake in a growing, doctor-led company, all while knowing you’re supported by a collaborative network that shares resources, expertise, and a vision for the future of orthodontics.

If you’re ready to build your future in a place you’ll love, apply today and take the first step toward becoming a clinical leader on Vancouver Island.
