Reporting to the Manager, Medical Workforce, the Advisor plays an important role in physician workforce planning and recruitment across Covenant Health and Covenant Care. Working closely with medical and operational leaders, physicians, candidates, and community stakeholders, the Advisor develops workforce strategies, supports recruitment initiatives, and contributes to sustainable physician coverage that enables high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is evolving its physician recruitment practices and developing innovative approaches to workforce planning. The Advisor will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, new recruitment workflows, recruitment events, committees, and strategic initiatives that strengthen physician attraction and retention. Required Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in a health related field, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Minimum requirement: Diploma in a health related field, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Equivalencies may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience in physician and/or international recruitment. Five (5) years of progressive experience in healthcare administration with a focus on workforce planning and recruitment.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to think critically, evaluate complex information, and exercise sound judgment when managing multiple competing priorities and recruitment initiatives. Exceptional analytical skills with experience interpreting workforce data, identifying trends, forecasting needs, and developing strategic recommendations. Highly developed organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment portfolios, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast paced environment. Proven ability to adapt and thrive during periods of organizational growth, transformation, and change. Self-motivated and solution focused, with a demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of new programs, workflows, and best practices. Comfortable working in an evolving environment where innovation, flexibility, and continuous improvement are valued and encouraged.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with international recruitment, physician recruitment and/or recruitment within healthcare. Experience interpreting, administering, and applying Staff Bylaws to support hiring and employee management. Proven ability to adapt during periods of organizational growth and transformation. Self-motivated and solution focused, with a demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of new programs, workflows, and best practices.
