Turn strategy into a pipeline-generating machine

What does it take to turn business development priorities into consistent execution and measurable pipeline? As Manager, Business Development, you’ll lead, coach and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Senior SDRs, creating the focus, accountability and support they need to perform at their best.

You’ll be at the heart of our Lead Generation Machine, translating priorities across inbound, outbound, field events and re-engagement into clear execution plans while continuously strengthening how the team works and grows.

As our Manager, Business Development, you will:

Lead, coach and develop a team of SDRs and Senior SDRs, owning individual development plans and supporting progression toward increased responsibilities.
Own team performance across meetings, sales-accepted leads, sales-qualified leads and pipeline creation, using performance data to identify and address gaps in targeting, messaging, conversion and execution.
Translate Business Development priorities into clear weekly and quarterly plans, allocating team capacity across inbound, outbound, field events, re-engagement and strategic initiatives.
Drive consistent execution of service-level agreements, qualification standards, operating processes and customer relationship management expectations while coaching the team on messaging, calls, account research and qualification.
Maintain accountability for each team member’s overall performance, development and capacity, including when Senior SDRs contribute to strategic assignments.
Partner with Business Development leadership, Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing and Product Marketing to share structured feedback, strengthen execution and improve pipeline generation.

Here is what will qualify you for the role:

Proven experience leading, coaching and developing SDRs or Business Development Representatives in a business-to-business software-as-a-service environment.
A strong track record of driving team performance against pipeline metrics, including meetings, qualified opportunities and pipeline creation.
The ability to translate broader Business Development priorities into focused, actionable weekly and quarterly plans.
Strong knowledge of prospecting and qualification fundamentals, including outbound outreach, inbound qualification, account research, messaging, customer relationship management discipline and qualification processes.

A demonstrated ability to develop talent, improve individual performance and prepare high performers for increased responsibilities and career progression.
Experience turning performance data and insights into measurable improvements in targeting, messaging, conversion or execution.
Experience balancing team capacity across multiple pipeline-generation motions and strategic account initiatives.
A highly collaborative approach and experience partnering across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations and Product Marketing.
