Our client, a well established construction company located just East or Pearson airport is seeking to hire a Senior Glass Drafter / Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate shop, fabrication, and installation drawings for curtain walls, windows, and other facade systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure design intent and constructability.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings related to building envelope systems.
- Develop system details for unitized and stick-built curtain wall systems.
- Maintain drawing documentation and ensure timely delivery of project submittals.
- Coordinate revisions and changes in design with internal and external teams.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of drafting experience in building envelope or curtain wall systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); Revit or other 3D drafting tools a plus.
- Familiarity with glass, aluminum framing, curtain wall (stick & unitized) systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural plans.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Candidates should be able to interpret architectural and structural plans and demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and teamwork; Revit or other 3D drafting tools are an asset.
