Millwright (433A), CPG Manufacturing
Location: Cambridge, Ontario
Pay: $48 to $50/hour plus shift premium
Schedule: Continental shifts, rotating days and nights every 4 weeks
About the Role
Our client, a large CPG manufacturer in Cambridge, is seeking a licensed Millwright to keep production and packaging equipment running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose breakdowns quickly
- Align and adjust conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and drives
- Read blueprints and schematics; weld and fabricate as needed
- Log work in the CMMS
- Follow LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Ontario 433A Millwright certificate
- Millwright experience in a manufacturing environment
- Availability for continental shifts, rotating days and nights every 4 weeks
Nice to Have
- Food, beverage, or CPG experience
- High-speed packaging line experience
- Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and packaging equipment, including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and drives. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose breakdowns, read blueprints and schematics, weld or fabricate as needed, document work in the CMMS, and follow safety procedures.
Requirements
A valid Ontario 433A Millwright certificate and millwright experience in a manufacturing environment are required. Candidates must be available for continental shifts rotating between days and nights every four weeks; food, beverage, or CPG experience and knowledge of high-speed packaging lines, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics are preferred.
