Product Manager (eCommerce)

Location: Midtown Toronto, 4x per wek
Duration: 12+ Months, 40 hours per week

About the Opportunity

Our consulting agency client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support a leading eCommerce organization. This role is ideal for a product professional who thrives in Agile environments, is passionate about digital commerce, and can effectively bridge business objectives with customer needs.

As the voice of the customer and the business, you will be responsible for defining product strategy, guiding roadmap execution, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact digital experiences that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Define, own, and evolve the product vision and roadmap for assigned areas of the eCommerce platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and digital sales goals.
Prioritize features, enhancements, and initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and data-driven insights.
Balance short-term business priorities with long-term platform strategy and scalability.
Develop business cases and establish success metrics for product initiatives, ensuring measurable outcomes tied to revenue, conversion, and engagement goals.
Clearly communicate the rationale behind product decisions, priorities, and roadmap investments to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Serve as the Product Owner within Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.
Lead a cross-functional squad consisting of developers, designers, analysts, and QA resources throughout the product development lifecycle.
Act as the product leader for the team, driving alignment, accountability, and clarity around priorities and deliverables.
Maintain and prioritize a well-defined product backlog that aligns with strategic business goals.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a related product delivery role.
Proven experience working within an eCommerce environment (required).
Experience developing and managing product roadmaps and backlogs for digital products.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing business needs and make data-informed product decisions.
