Associate Art Curator
Part-Time | 12-Month Contract
We’re looking for an Associate Curator to support the management, curation and movement of a significant global corporate art collection spanning Canada, the U.S., U.K. and APAC.
Working closely with senior curatorial leadership, Corporate Real Estate teams, artists, galleries and installation partners, you’ll help coordinate artwork across corporate environments while supporting collection management, acquisitions, employee engagement and client initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an arts professional who combines a strong knowledge of Canadian, contemporary and emerging art with exceptional project coordination and organizational skills.
What You’ll Do:
Collection & Curatorial Support
- Support day-to-day management of the corporate art collection, including database records, archives and valuations.
- Assist with artwork selection and bring forward potential acquisitions aligned with the collection strategy.
- Ensure documentation is complete for new acquisitions and liaise with artists regarding copyright where required.
- Conduct art-market research, including sales and auction information.
Art Installations & Corporate Real Estate Projects
- Coordinate artwork movements and installations across Corporate Real Estate projects.
- Work with building managers, galleries, artists, art handlers and installers to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Plan installations around construction schedules, office openings and project milestones.
- Track multiple projects and artwork movements while maintaining accurate documentation.
Engagement & Operations
- Coordinate documentation and payment requirements for artists, galleries and other partners.
- Support employee engagement initiatives that build awareness of the collection.
- Assist with arts and cultural sponsorships.
- Support senior curatorial leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Art History, Curatorial Studies or a related arts discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the arts.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian, contemporary and emerging art.
- Understanding of the commercial art market, including sales and auction activity.
- Experience within galleries, museums, corporate collections, cultural organizations or similar environments is highly relevant.
- Excellent project management, organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with artists, galleries, vendors and senior corporate stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word; experience with Inmagic or similar collection-management systems is an asset.
The Opportunity

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for renewal
Schedule: Part-time, 3 days / approximately 22 hours per week
Environment: Corporate office setting with some flexibility around installations and project milestones
Travel: Occasional travel for art events, acquisitions, sponsorships and significant artwork movements
