Job Description
You bring ideas to life before they’re ready to be a deck.
You work in a creative pod concepting campaigns and promotions. The traditional dimensions of that work are real: strong craft, clear thinking, ideas that hold up under scrutiny. But what you bring that no one else in the pod does is the question “what else could this be?” You spin up a landing page to show how a campaign breathes in the wild. You build a demo of how a product experience might work inside a banner ad. You find a way to stretch an existing Adobe tool into something unexpected. Creative technology isn’t a layer you add to an idea after it’s formed: it’s how you think from the start.
As art directors design and copywriters write, one of your mediums is code. You carry a full creative load - concepting, developing, presenting across Adobe’s campaign and product work - and you bring the same rigor your creative partners bring. What’s different is that when the team is figuring out how to express a concept, you’re the one who can make a version of it exist. Scrappily, quickly, real enough for someone to react to.
You Will
What You Produce
- Campaign concepts and executions expressed as working prototypes, interactive demos, not just decks. A proof-of-concept that tests whether the technology will support the idea, and a functional prototype that shows what it looks and feels like. Traditional campaign work - concepting, presenting, iterating - at the level expected of any ACD on this team.
The Standard - The clearest measure of this role: the ideas you bring couldn’t have been expressed any other way. The technology dimension should be integrated from the start - shaping what ideas you bring forward, how you express them, and what you push the team to consider. If you’re asking, “can we prototype this?” after the concept is approved, you’ve arrived too late. The question belongs in the briefing itself.
You Have
- A portfolio that demonstrates both strong creative thinking and things you’ve built - not one or the other.
- Campaign experience in an agency environment.
- The creative instinct to know when technology is serving an idea versus driving it.
- Hands-on fluency with prototyping and vibe-coding environments (Claude/Code, ChatGPT/Codex).
- Working knowledge of AI creative tools across image, video, audio, and interactive.
