Job Description
Critical Mass is hiring a Senior Media Manager, Performance Planning to join our growing team. As the Senior Media Manager, Performance Planning, you will be responsible for building, executing, and optimizing performance-driven media plans across multiple client accounts. This role focuses on translating strategic direction into actionable media executions that drive measurable business results.
You Will
Build and manage multi-channel media plans across Search, Social, Programmatic, Video, and emerging channels
Translate strategic direction into detailed media recommendations and activation plans.
Support budget allocation, forecasting, and campaign structuring
Ensure plans align with audience insights and business KPIs
Monitor campaign performance and optimize toward ROAS, CPA, CAC, and conversion goals.
Partner with activation teams to ensure accurate setup, trafficking, and execution
Identify optimization opportunities across targeting, creative, bidding, and channel mix
Support testing initiatives and performance reporting
Manage day-to-day client communication and reporting needs
Present campaign updates and performance insights
Collaborate with Analysts, Planners, and Activation teams to ensure alignment
Support junior team members and contribute to best practices
You Have
4–7 years of media planning or performance marketing experience
Experience with digital platforms including Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic
Understanding of performance KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and conversion rate
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Experience in client-facing environments

Toronto: $80,000-$120,000
