Position
Within the Croesus Lab, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in the exploration and development of innovative technological solutions in the field of artificial intelligence. You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with researchers, master's, and Ph.D. students on innovative projects that will shape the future of our industry! You will contribute to the design, development, and testing of technological prototypes, in collaboration with our internal R&D team. You may also participate in integrating research findings into Croesus products, as well as setting up the tools and infrastructure necessary for the smooth operation of the lab.
As a Contributor To This Team, The Student Could
- Participate in research and experimental development work by implementing prototypes to address technological uncertainties related to business opportunities.
- Participate in implementing prototypes, proofs of concept, or experimental modules.
- Support the integration of research findings into Croesus products in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Analyze and transform datasets, including occasionally participating in dataset creation and annotation.
- Participate in the development, configuration, or deployment of development tools (CI/CD, MLOps, etc.) and lab cloud infrastructure.
- Document developed solutions, technological choices, and experimental results.
- Regularly present project progress to the team and project stakeholders.
- Actively participate in team meetings and sprint reviews.
Desired Profile
- Student in their final or penultimate year of a bachelor's degree, or pursuing a master's or Ph.D. in AI, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Skills
- Knowledge of Python and relevant artificial intelligence frameworks (Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy, LangChain, etc.).
- Strong interest in new technologies and solving complex problems.
- Quick learning ability, resourcefulness, and autonomy.
- Comfort step outside one's comfort zone to explore new technological approaches.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to simplify complex topics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of Python and/or languages like C#, C++.
- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Experience in web development (e.g., Angular, REST APIs), an asset.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools, an asset.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), an asset.
- Experience in operations research or big data processing, an asset.
- Participation in AI projects or competitions (e.g., Kaggle, hackathons), an asset.
