Job Overview

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the evolution of our portfolio management software - a solution used daily by wealth management firms. You will work on an established, continuously evolving product within an Agile team that places high value on quality and collaboration. Generative AI is an integral part of our development practices, and you will help make the most of it.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Development: Design, develop, and maintain features in accordance with team standards and best practices.

• Quality & Testing: Write automated tests and participate in the shift-left approach to catch issues as early as possible.

• Performance: Ensure the performance and reliability of the code you deliver, and contribute to troubleshooting and problem resolution.

• Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions with the team.

• AI & Continuous Improvement: Leverage generative AI (Claude) in your daily workflow and suggest enhancements to our tools and processes.

What We Are Looking For

Strong proficiency in French is mandatory, as all internal meetings are conducted in French. 

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (College Diploma/DEC or Bachelor’s degree), or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience.
• Experience or familiarity with the financial sector or wealth management is an asset.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with C#/.NET and TypeScript/Angular.
• Solid understanding of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong interest in AI tools applied to software engineering.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an asset.

• Strong communication skills: proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
