About Crop Management Network Inc.

Crop Management Network Inc. (CMN) is Alberta's largest independent, employee-owned agricultural retailer. From 10 retail locations across central Alberta, we supply customers with crop inputs, agronomic expertise, and advice they can rely on.

Everything we do is aimed at helping farmers get more out of every acre:

Agronomy and crop inputs: Seed, fertilizer, and crop protection, backed by agronomic advice tailored to Alberta farms and grounded in the latest research.
Operations and logistics: We invest in our facilities to blend efficiently, and our integrated Crop Management Logistics team are logistics experts at getting product on farm.
Customer service: We build lasting relationships with growers through personalized service and solutions that fit their goals.

CMN is locally owned and employee-owned. That keeps us invested in our customers' success, in the communities we serve, and in giving our people room to grow their careers.

THE SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM

We are committed to giving students the opportunity to put their education into practice. Our four-month Summer Intern Program gives you a broad scope of experience and insight into the agricultural industry.

You will work on the operational and customer service side of an ag retailer, gain firsthand knowledge of local agronomic trends and findings, support our Account Managers and Technical Agronomist, and get involved in the sales process of our business. This range of experience builds skills that will help you choose your career focus after you finish your education.

WHY WORK WITH CMN THIS SUMMER

See the whole business: In four months you will work across retail operations, customer service, agronomy, and sales.
Learn from experienced people: You will work side by side with our Account Managers and Lead Field Agronomist.
Do real agronomy: You will scout customer fields, help with field trials and field days, and present local findings to the Account Manager team.
Scout in a CMN truck: A company truck is provided for the summer for field scouting.
Build your safety training: You will complete First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, and forklift training.
Join an employee-owned company: We are locally owned and invested in helping our people grow their careers.
