We are looking for a full time Receptionist to join our Yellowknife team. Our ideal team members are self-motivated, well organized, detail oriented and will possess exceptional communication and problem solving skills. Our administrative personnel play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm. The receptionist is proactively engaged in providing superior client service and is focused on attentively supporting all staff.

The Role

The primary duties of the Receptionist include:

Greet all guests, visitors and staff in a professional and courteous manner;
Answer phones, open and deliver mail, and coordinate courier services;
Maintain all common areas in a neat and tidy fashion;
Manage group calendars, schedule appointments and meetings
Process debit and credit card payments;
Maintain staff logbook to uphold internal safety protocols;
Log in/track client year end records and personal taxes;
Assembling personal tax returns and other miscellaneous documents;
Prepare purchase orders for needed supplies; e.g. stationary, food orders, etc.
Proactively manage client inquiries;
Assist with management of marketing materials and inventory;
Actively participate in the planning and execution of company events; and
Assist remote staff/teams and contractors by tracking and coordinating the delivery of both electronic and hard copy client records and acting as a liaison to ensure smooth execution of client service.

What you will bring

This position requires 1 year work experience in customer service and/or in an professional office environment. Ideal applicants will be approachable, demonstrate active listening skills and be resourceful by sharing information to improve team results. In addition, qualified applicants will maintain the following knowledge, abilities and skills:

Exceptional customer service skills
Strong commitment to excellence; ability to prioritize work and meet work commitments
Ability to apply technology tools
