Skilled Construction Labourer

What You’ll Do
- Follow safe work practices and procedures on site.
- Assist with the construction of residential buildings, including wood-frame, steel, and concrete construction, throughout various stages of the build.
- Use hand and power tools and other construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices and labourers, sharing your knowledge and experience.
- Pitch in where needed and take on additional duties as required.
- Strong carpentry skills and 2+ years of experience in high-density residential construction.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- A team-first mindset and the flexibility to jump in wherever needed.
- A strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of the BC Building Code.
- First Aid certification (OFA Level 2 or 3).
- Telehandler operator certification.
- Skid steer operating experience.

Responsibilities
Follow safe work practices and assist with residential construction across wood-frame, steel, and concrete projects at various stages. Use tools and equipment safely, support apprentices and labourers, and take on additional duties as needed.
Requirements
Requires strong carpentry skills and at least two years of high-density residential construction experience, along with a positive, flexible, team-oriented attitude and a strong work ethic. Candidates must be able to lift more than 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors; blueprint reading, BC Building Code knowledge, first aid, telehandler certification, and skid steer experience are assets.
