Cryopak Industries is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst & Planning Lead to support and optimize our manufacturing planning activities, including MRP, materials management, inventory optimization and production scheduling.

This is a hands-on manufacturing planning role combining business analytics, MRP/materials planning, production scheduling, process improvement and team development.

The successful candidate will work directly within our ERP/MRP environment to ensure material availability, maintain accurate planning parameters, resolve shortages, support production scheduling and improve planning processes across the organization.

This is not a traditional IT Business Analyst position. Hands-on manufacturing, MRP/materials planning and production scheduling experience are essential.

  • Review MRP requirements and planning exceptions and take action to address shortages, delays and supply risks.
  • Maintain and optimize ERP/MRP planning parameters, including lead times, safety stock, reorder points, lot sizes and planning rules.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials and components to support production requirements and customer demand.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer priorities, material availability, capacity and operational constraints.
  • Monitor material shortages, late deliveries and inventory risks and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Analyze inventory levels and identify opportunities to reduce excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventory while maintaining appropriate service levels.
  • Support the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs), item master data and planning parameters.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Logistics, Customer Service, Engineering and other operational teams to resolve planning issues.

Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze manufacturing, planning, inventory and supply-chain processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of material shortages, inventory discrepancies, scheduling variances and production delays.
  • Translate operational needs into actionable improvements to ERP/MRP processes, workflows and system configurations.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs related to material availability, inventory health, shortages, schedule adherence and planning accuracy.
  • Analyze ERP data using Excel, Power BI and other analytical tools to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and operational reporting to support management decision-making.
  • Standardize planning processes and develop procedures, documentation and work instructions.
  • Participate in ERP/MRP process improvements, system enhancements and data-quality initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Train and coach new planning team members on MRP, production planning, ERP processes and planning best practices.
  • Develop standardized processes and tools to improve consistency across the planning function.
  • Act as a resource for operational teams regarding MRP, planning and inventory-related issues.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment involving MRP, materials planning and/or production scheduling.
