Commercial Roofing Project Manager
An established commercial roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. The company specialises in commercial and industrial roofing solutions, delivering projects across a range of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced roofing professional to take ownership of projects, manage client relationships and play an important role in the successful delivery and continued growth of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial roofing projects from initial award through to final completion. Responsibilities will include overseeing project schedules, budgets and financial performance; coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors; reviewing contracts, drawings and specifications; managing procurement and change orders; monitoring project costs and profitability; conducting progress meetings; and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. You will also maintain strong relationships with general contractors, building owners, suppliers, field personnel and other key stakeholders while working closely with estimating and operations teams.
Candidates should have previous Project Management experience within the commercial roofing industry, with a strong understanding of roofing systems, installation methods, construction drawings, specifications and project financials. Experience managing commercial and industrial roofing projects involving TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen and other low-slope applications would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, commercially minded and confident managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. A proven ability to manage project teams, maintain client relationships and deliver profitable projects is essential.
