Roofing Project Manager

An established commercial roofing contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team in Ontario. The company specialises in specified commercial roofing projects, delivering roofing solutions across a range of commercial, industrial and institutional developments. Working with general contractors, building owners, consultants and other construction professionals, the business has developed a strong presence in the Canadian commercial roofing market.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing commercial roofing projects from initial award through to final completion. Responsibilities will include overseeing project schedules, budgets, procurement and subcontractors; reviewing construction drawings, specifications and contract documentation; coordinating materials, labour and site activities; managing change orders and project costs; conducting progress meetings; monitoring quality control; and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. You will also maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal operations teams.

Candidates should have previous Project Management experience within the commercial roofing industry, ideally with exposure to specified roofing projects in the Canadian market. A strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, installation methods, construction drawings, specifications and project financials is essential. Experience with systems such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen and other low-slope commercial roofing applications would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, highly organised and confident managing multiple projects while maintaining strong client relationships and driving successful project delivery.
