Summary:

Founded in 2002 by a group of four successful collision repair owners, CSN Collision was established to assist independent collision repair facilities to improve their operations through performance assessments, ongoing training, and marketing initiatives. Today, CSN Collision is one of Canada's most advanced networks of independently owned and operated collision repair facilities. Our independence is our strength in that our licensees have a vested interest in the company and their communities.

About:

The Intact Service Centre in Hamilton is part of the CSN Collision’s Corporate Store network, supporting customers with streamlined, high-quality auto repair services. The centre focuses on efficient claims handling, exceptional customer service, and consistent repair standards. CSN Collision locations ensures a smooth experience from vehicle drop-off to final delivery, providing customers with reliable repairs, transparent communication, and industry-leading service.

Primary Objectives of the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Collision Repair Bodyshop Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the smooth running of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, overseeing customer inquiries, and driving sales to meet targets. This role is integral to the overall operations of the repair facilities' growth and performance.

Strong Leadership and clear communication skills to lead the team toward achieving goals.

Ensure proper handling and efficient processing of insurance claims and repair process.

Review quality control measures to ensure all repairs exceed industry standards and customers’ expectations.

Manage inventory of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure materials are available for timely repairs. While cost containment is regulated.

Hire, train, and supervise auto body technicians and support staff, fostering a team environment that encourages skill development and high performance.

Develop and maintain relationships with parts vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.

Manage customer feedback while providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Analyze financial statements, sales reports, and other performance data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for improving shop efficiency and profitability.

Optimizing the Repair schedule for efficient production throughput and WIP management.

Overseeing all aspects of the Repair Facility, day-to-day operations, planning and target setting.

Qualifications, Experience and other requirements:

Must have at least 5 years of Collision Centre Management or Estimations Experience

Experience working with Bodyshop Connect and Nexsyis an asset

5+ years of proven experience in store management or a similar role

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proven teambuilding and leading experience

Sales and negotiation aptitude
