About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect with a banking background to design enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud environments.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and VMware, with the ability to bring multiple infrastructure technologies together into a cohesive solution. This role has a strong focus on infrastructure architecture, solution design, and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise infrastructure solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop hybrid infrastructure architectures spanning Microsoft Azure, VMware, and on-premises environments.
• Define how compute, storage, networking, security, and cloud components integrate within the overall solution.
• Assess existing infrastructure and recommend improvements to support modernization, scalability, and resilience.
• Create architecture diagrams, high-level designs, detailed solution documents, and implementation roadmaps.
• Address availability, disaster recovery, performance, and operational requirements within infrastructure designs.
• Collaborate with application, networking, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards.
• Provide architectural guidance during implementation and communicate design decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or a similar role focused on enterprise infrastructure design.
• Strong experience designing solutions using Microsoft Azure and VMware.
• Experience with public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise compute, virtualization, storage, networking, and infrastructure security.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical, well-documented infrastructure architectures.
• Previous experience designing infrastructure solutions within the banking sector.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) would be an asset.
