STeamcenter PLM Technical Consultant – Integration & Data Migration

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Teamcenter Integration SME / AIG Architect and Teamcenter Data Migration SME / Architect professionals to support enterprise Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementations, system integrations, legacy data migration, and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidates will have strong technical expertise in Teamcenter integration, Active Integration Gateway (AIG), enterprise application connectivity, PLM data migration, or migration architecture.

We welcome candidates specializing in either Teamcenter Integration or Teamcenter Data Migration, or both. Expertise in both areas is an advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Teamcenter Integration SME / AIG Architect

• Design, develop, configure, implement, and support Siemens Teamcenter enterprise integrations.
• Configure and customize Teamcenter Active Integration Gateway (AIG), including T4EA, T4S, T4O, and related integration frameworks.
• Design integration pipelines, data mappings, transfer modes, synchronization rules, and integration jobs.
• Integrate Teamcenter with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, ERP, MES, ALM, QMS, CAD, ECAD, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop integration solutions using REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, and middleware technologies.
• Define data transformations, lifecycle synchronization, reconciliation processes, and integration monitoring.
• Support Teamcenter CAD integration and engineering data exchange.
• Implement integration security, authentication, transaction monitoring, error handling, and audit controls.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, resolve synchronization issues, and optimize integration performance.
• Prepare integration architecture, technical specifications, mapping documents, and deployment procedures.

Teamcenter Data Migration SME / Architect

• Define and execute end-to-end data migration strategies for Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementations.
• Assess legacy PLM systems, source data landscapes, and migration requirements.
• Design source-to-target mappings for Teamcenter Items, Revisions, BOMs, Documents, CAD Data, Workflows, and Classification Data.
• Develop and support ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, staging, validation, and loading activities.
• Work with Teamcenter migration utilities, including CSV2TCXML, TC_IMPORT, PLM XML, and SQL scripts.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, reconciliation, and validation.
• Support migrations from legacy PLM systems, including Agile PLM, DesignCentral, and other enterprise applications.
• Plan and execute mock migrations, migration testing, production cutovers, rollback strategies, and post-migration support.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, referential consistency, and auditability throughout migration activities.
• Troubleshoot migration errors, resolve data inconsistencies, and optimize migration processes.
• Prepare migration architecture, mapping specifications, validation reports, and cutover documentation.
  

Required Technical Skills

General Teamcenter Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementation, integration, data migration, or technical consulting.
• Understanding of Teamcenter architecture, data models, business objects, product structures, and workflows.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following specializations.

Teamcenter Integration SME / AIG Architect

• Teamcenter Active Integration Gateway (AIG/T4x).
• T4EA, T4S, T4O, or relevant Teamcenter integration frameworks.
• SAP, ERP, MES, CAD, ECAD, or enterprise application integrations.
• REST APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, middleware, and data synchronization.
• Integration architecture, data mapping, monitoring, and error handling.

Teamcenter Data Migration SME / Architect

• Legacy PLM to Siemens Teamcenter data migration.
• CSV2TCXML, TC_IMPORT, PLM XML, or related migration utilities.
• ETL, SQL, source-to-target mapping, transformation, and validation.
• Teamcenter Items, Revisions, BOMs, Documents, and CAD data migration.
• Data cleansing, reconciliation, mock migrations, and cutover planning.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Teamcenter BMIDE, ITK, SOA, Active Workspace, or related technologies.
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with SAP ECC/S/4HANA or other enterprise applications.
• Experience migrating data from Agile PLM, DesignCentral, SolidWorks PDM Vault, Autodesk Vault, Altium 365, SharePoint, or Documentum.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise PLM implementations, modernization, and transformation projects.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter X, Siemens Xcelerator, or cloud-based PLM environments.
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidates are experienced Siemens Teamcenter professionals with demonstrated expertise in either enterprise system integration, Active Integration Gateway (AIG), PLM data migration, or migration architecture.

We are particularly interested in professionals who can independently contribute to complex Teamcenter implementations, solve technical challenges, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Candidates with expertise in either Teamcenter Integration SME / AIG Architect or Teamcenter Data Migration SME / Architect are encouraged to apply. Experience in both specializations is an advantage, not a requirement.
