Company Description Cured Catering is a Toronto-based food company specializing in fine foods and gourmet gifts, with a focus on high-quality ingredients and careful presentation. The team creates charcuterie boards, candy trays, baskets, and customized catering options for private and corporate clients. Cured Catering also offers tailored corporate gifting solutions that highlight thoughtful, beautifully arranged food selections. Role Description The Kitchen Team Member is a contract, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, supporting daily food preparation and assembly for catering orders and gourmet gift products. This role involves preparing ingredients, assembling charcuterie boards and trays according to company standards, and following food safety and hygiene practices. The Kitchen Team Member helps maintain a clean and organized kitchen, assists with inventory checks, and supports packing and labeling orders for delivery or pick-up. The position requires collaboration with other team members to meet production timelines, uphold quality standards, and ensure an efficient workflow during busy periods.

Qualifications

Basic food preparation skills and familiarity with working in a commercial or catering kitchen environment.
Strong attention to detail in presentation, portioning, and packaging of charcuterie boards, trays, and gift items.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, handling, and cleaning practices.
Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Good time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple orders and meet production deadlines.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service is an asset but not required.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event and catering schedules.
