Role: Campaign Manager

Manager: Senior Campaign Manager & Team Lead

Department: CMG Labs

Salary: $55,000 to $60,000

Location: Toronto, Vancouver or Calgary

About Curiocity Media Group (CMG)

Curiocity Media Group, the digital division of ZoomerMedia, is home to some of Canada's best-known media brands, including Daily Hive, blogTO, Curiocity, Dished, Offside, MobileSyrup, and CULTR. Together, these brands reach millions of readers each month with hyper-local content, breaking news, and branded storytelling that blends editorial credibility with a distinctly engaging voice. CMG combines strong journalism with data-driven marketing solutions to deliver results for both audiences and brand partners.

About the Role

The Campaign Manager is the operational backbone of a branded campaign at CMG Labs, owning it end-to-end from contract confirmation through post-campaign reporting. This role suits someone highly organized, dedicated to customer service, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate requires meticulous attention to detail and experience managing complex, multi-market digital and branded content campaigns. You’ll work closely with the Campaign Management Team Lead alongside other Campaign Managers to deliver a high volume of diverse campaigns across multiple clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the main client contact throughout the campaign lifecycle, from confirmation through conclusion.
  • Lead client meetings, including kickoff calls, project updates, and review sessions, balancing urgency with reassurance
  • Manage day-to-day campaign execution, including coordinating video and article production requests, creative delivery, and client and internal communications
  • Build realistic, thorough workback schedules for booked campaigns and keep internal teams accountable to them
  • Maintain a clear understanding of each campaign’s goals, deliverables, timelines, and budget, making day-to-day decisions to keep campaigns on track and escalating to the Team Lead when a call is outside your scope
  • Track campaign progress weekly, flag risks early, and work with internal teams to propose scope changes when needed
  • Keep campaign records accurate and up to date in our internal tools (Notion and AdOrbit), so status, timelines, and deliverables are visible to sales, finance, and leadership
  • Prepare post-campaign reports and recommendations for future campaigns, with support from the Campaign Strategist
  • Keep internal stakeholder groups aligned on resourcing, scope, and status at every phase
  • Develop deep working knowledge of the CMG portfolio of sites and social accounts
  • Partner with sales reps to support client retention and growth
  • Support the Team Lead on escalated accounts, joining client meetings and helping develop action plans to resolve issues
  • Contribute to strategic planning and ideation sessions, internally and with clients

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience managing digital and branded content campaigns in a digital publisher, agency, or media environment
  • A customer-service first mindset.
  • Experience managing multiple, multi-product campaigns simultaneously, from confirmation through post-campaign reporting
  • Understanding of branded and sponsored content, social media platforms, paid and organic traffic, and digital analytics
  • Understanding of digital production
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the confidence to communicate with stakeholders through complex conversations
  • Demonstrated ability to build and hold teams to workback schedules, and to manage campaigns to budget and deadline
  • Comfort with project management tools such as Notion, Jira, or similar, and the discipline to keep them current

Self-starter with effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to stay composed under pressure

  • Experience with Google Ad Manager is considered an asset, though not required

What We Offer

  • Structured onboarding, ongoing coaching and clear commercial expectations to support strategic account development and long-term success.
  • The opportunity to build partnerships across trusted Canadian media brands, supported by strategy, campaign management, content, creative and paid-media specialists.
  • Flexible paid time off policy to ensure you're able to get the break you need and work at an optimized level.
  • Opportunity for both professional and personal growth.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • Benefits package including dental, vision and extended health starting after 3 months.

We are committed to a fair and transparent recruitment process. ZoomerMedia does not use artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or make decisions regarding candidates. All applications are reviewed by members of our hiring team.
