As a volunteer, you will:
- Identify and analyze funding opportunities: Conduct ongoing research to identify relevant funding opportunities and produce bi-monthly reports outlining eligibility criteria, funding amounts, deadlines, and strategic recommendations to support strong proposal development.
- Strengthen project data management systems: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of past and ongoing projects, capturing key information such as funding sources, scope, target populations, outcomes, and performance indicators.
- Evaluate project performance and impact: Review completed projects to assess compliance with established indicators and performance targets, and prepare evaluation reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Support evidence-based planning and decision-making: Provide insights and analysis that help the organization make informed decisions, improve project design, and enhance overall program effectiveness.
- Promote inclusive and results-driven approaches: Contribute to strengthening systems that ensure projects effectively reach and benefit underserved populations, aligning with principles of equity, inclusion, and sustainable impact.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.
- Training or coursework in project management, monitoring and evaluation, research methods, data analysis, or development studies is considered an asset.
Essential Background:

- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and present information to support decision-making.
- Experience collecting, organizing, or managing data and producing reports, dashboards, or summaries for stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills, including report writing, documentation, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and partners.
