Enterprise Architect (Salesforce) – Healthcare & Life Sciences

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect (Salesforce) with deep expertise in Healthcare and Life Sciences (HLS) and data background. You’ll lead the design of complex enterprise solutions with Salesforce at the core, connected to ERP, data platforms and integration layers. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to define target-state architectures and multi-year roadmaps. Your job is to make sure the technology supports the business strategy.

This is a client-facing role. It calls for strong communication and real HLS industry insight. You’ll also need to turn business needs into architectures that hold up over time.

We implement Health Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud for pharma, biotech and medtech companies. In this role, you’ll shape how HLS clients use Salesforce and data at a time when the industry is rethinking its CRM stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture design and governance for large Salesforce-led transformation programs in pharma, biotech, medtech, payer and provider organizations.
• Assess current-state landscapes and build future-state blueprints covering applications, integrations, data and infrastructure.
• Architect end-to-end solutions across Salesforce (including Health Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud), ERP, data platforms and integration technologies (API-led, middleware, iPaaS).
• Define the data architecture behind each solution. This covers customer and patient data models, master data, identity resolution and data quality.
• Design how data moves between Salesforce and the wider data estate, including warehouses, data lakes and analytics tools.
• Work with business and IT leadership to define multi-year roadmaps and keep architecture consistent across projects.
• Guide cross-functional delivery teams through design, build and launch.
• Advise on HLS commercial and medical operations, including HCP engagement, patient services, field force and omnichannel.
• Make sure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability and performance, plus HLS regulations such as HIPAA, GxP and GDPR.
• Support pre-sales work, including solution design, effort estimates and client presentations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on getting more value from their CRM, data and integration investments.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years in enterprise or solution architecture roles, in IT consulting or large enterprises.
• Proven experience in Healthcare and/or Life Sciences, with a solid grasp of key processes such as commercial operations, medical affairs, patient engagement and the regulatory environment.
• Deep hands-on expertise with:
• Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud or Data Cloud)
• Data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure)
• Data architecture, including MDM, data modeling, data governance and data quality
• Integration platforms (APIs, middleware, iPaaS)
• Experience with ERP integration (SAP ECC or S/4HANA preferred).
• Experience designing secure, scalable multi-cloud or hybrid architectures.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on the client side in an HLS organization, not only in consulting.
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
• Experience with Veeva or migrating from Veeva CRM to Salesforce.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Experience in global digital transformation programs.
