Original job description

Company Description CW Properties Inc. is a leasing-focused company that combines deep market expertise with advanced technology to maximize occupancy and streamline the rental process. As a trusted partner for property owners, developers, and management companies, the organization uses real-time market analytics and industry connections to secure suitable tenants quickly. Operating across the Greater Montreal area, CW Properties Inc. provides accurate rental data, pricing strategies, and insights that help properties remain competitive in a changing market. The company delivers a seamless, hands-on leasing experience from marketing through move-in, helping owners minimize vacancies and improve tenant quality. Its data-backed approach ensures informed decisions and sustainable leasing results.
Role Description The Leasing Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area, with a combination of on-site property visits and remote work. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end leasing process, including responding to inquiries, scheduling and conducting property tours, and guiding prospective residents through application and screening procedures. The Leasing Specialist prepares, reviews, and executes lease agreements, ensures accurate lease administration in property management systems, and coordinates move-in and move-out activities. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining strong resident relationships, handling service requests related to leasing matters, and supporting resident retention initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with property owners and management teams, assisting with marketing efforts for available units, and providing market feedback to optimize pricing and occupancy strategies.
Qualifications

Demonstrated ability in resident retention and customer service to support positive tenant experiences and long-term occupancy.
Experience with leases and lease administration, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate lease documentation.
Strong communication skills for interacting with prospective residents, current tenants, property owners, and internal teams.
Knowledge of local rental regulations and fair housing practices, with the ability to apply them in daily leasing activities.
Comfort using property management software, CRM tools, and basic office applications to manage leasing workflows and records.
Proven organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple properties or listings.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment within a hybrid work model, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
Previous experience in residential leasing, property management, or real estate is preferred; relevant education or certification in real estate or property management is an asset.
