Company Description CWP Constructors Ltd., founded in 2007 in Edmonton, is a general contractor that has grown steadily through strong client relationships and positive referrals. The company partners with public and private sector clients such as Kiewit, City of Edmonton, Alberta Transportation, Parks Canada, and Cenovus Energy. CWP’s capabilities span new bridge construction, hydro structure works, foundation works, bridge rehabilitations, and small commercial building projects across Western Canada. Known for delivering projects that provide exceptional value, CWP focuses on meeting client needs within required timelines while building lasting partnerships. The team is experienced in coordinating multidisciplinary work, including concrete, earthworks, underground utilities, electrical, mechanical, demolition, piling, and paving from project start to finish.

Role Description The Construction Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. This position supports project managers and site supervisors in planning, organizing, and tracking construction activities across multiple projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, preparing and maintaining project documentation, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and monitoring progress against budgets and timelines. The role also involves supporting contract administration, facilitating communication between field and office teams, and helping ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The coordinator contributes to timely issue resolution and helps maintain accurate records so projects are delivered efficiently and according to client expectations.

Qualifications

Strong Project Coordination skills with experience organizing tasks, timelines, and documentation across multiple construction projects.
Knowledge of Construction Project Management and Construction Management principles, including site activities, trade coordination, and contract administration.
Proficiency in Project Management practices, including scheduling, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Experience with Budgeting, cost tracking, and basic financial reporting for construction projects.
Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards, including safety regulations and quality requirements.
Strong digital skills with common project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, scheduling tools); experience with construction management software is an asset.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work on-site in varying conditions.
