Original job description

About the opportunity

Cybersafe is hiring an experienced Account Executive to help grow our Canadian business. We’re looking for someone who can build a pipeline, lead meaningful conversations with business and IT leaders, and manage the entire sales process from first contact to signed agreement.

You’ll work directly with our Canadian business partner and technical team to identify opportunities, understand client needs, and bring forward cybersecurity solutions that fit their business.

This is a hands-on sales role with responsibility for generating new business and closing deals.

What you’ll do

Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
Generate opportunities through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry events.
Build relationships with business owners, executives, IT leaders, and security decision-makers.
Understand each prospect’s security priorities, buying process, budget, and timeline.
Work with technical specialists to scope opportunities and present clear recommendations.
Maintain accurate CRM records, next steps, and sales forecasts.
Meet agreed sales targets and develop opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
Share market feedback to help improve our Canadian sales approach.

What we’re looking for

At least three years of B2B sales experience, with a proven record of managing and closing full-cycle opportunities.
Experience selling cybersecurity, managed IT services, or other technical solutions. Direct cybersecurity sales experience is strongly preferred.
Confidence generating your own pipeline and winning new accounts.
The ability to explain technical services in clear business terms.
Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Experience working with technical teams throughout the sales process.
A self-directed approach, strong organization, and accountability for results.

What we offer

CAD $80,000 annual base salary.
CAD $60,000 target annual commission, bringing total on-target earnings to $140,000. Commission is performance-based and subject to the agreed compensation plan.
Direct access to our Canadian business partner and technical team.
The opportunity to help shape Cybersafe’s growth in Canada and take ownership of new client relationships.

How to apply

Apply with your resume and a short introduction outlining the solutions you’ve sold, the customers you’ve worked with, and your recent sales results.
