Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Etobicoke, ON, responsible for managing and growing client relationships in Cynergy Mechanical’s key sectors. Day-to-day, this role oversees assigned accounts, responds to client inquiries, prepares quotes and proposals, and coordinates with operations and technical teams to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery. The Account Manager monitors project and service status, supports scheduling, and follows up on work orders to help meet client expectations and contractual commitments. This position also identifies opportunities for additional services or capital retrofits, supports budgeting and forecasting for accounts, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to address issues and improve service. Regular client meetings, site visits, and documentation of activities in CRM or internal systems are essential to maintaining strong communication and accurate records.
Qualifications
- Client relationship management and account management skills, including experience handling multiple commercial or institutional accounts.
- Sales, business development, and negotiation skills to prepare proposals, support pricing discussions, and identify growth opportunities.
- Organizational, time management, and coordination skills for managing schedules, work orders, and follow-up activities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills for clear, professional interaction with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Ability to understand mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems concepts sufficient to discuss services and projects with clients.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and basic reporting or documentation practices.
- Previous experience in mechanical contracting, building services, facilities management, or a related field is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
