Solutions Engineer

About d1g1t

d1g1t is a leading North American Fintech company founded in 2016, now with a strong team of 90+ people and growing. We have built a wealth management platform, which is now in use by over 90+ of advisory firms in Canada and the U.S. Our goal is to provide financial advisors with leading analytics and all the information they need at their fingertips, so that they can take the conversation with their clients to a different level – elevating their client experience and increasing engagement. The human interaction between an advisor and their clients is at the center of what we do.

We are intensely committed to innovation. Originally incubated at the Fields Institute in Toronto, one of the most recognized mathematical institutes in the world, d1g1t is led by an experienced team who have developed portfolio and risk systems for many of the top banks, institutional asset managers, hedge funds, regulators and wealth management firms globally. We are backed by top Fintech investors in Canada & the US/UK, and to build this platform, we have assembled the strongest Financial Engineering and Client Servicing team in the industry.

Job Summary

Your role would focus on the Pre-Sales process and articulating our wealth management value proposition to prospects and clients. We want individual contributors that are team players and not afraid to express their views in a direct but professional manner.

RFP/RFI: own the organization of contributors and completion of RFP/RFI requests for qualified prospects
Financial Engineer Liaison: provide the bridge between the Sales group and the Financial Engineering group for knowledge transfer, in-depth prospect queries and management of FE resources needed to support the Sales group

Qualifications

Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate a value proposition persuasively
Self-motivated and able to direct own project work with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor, good time management skills and ability to build rapport with prospects
Experience in leading teams and managing people – with a strong emphasis on employee engagement, career paths, and reporting.
5+ years’ work experience, or demonstrable knowledge in risk, wealth or portfolio management. Specialization or experience in any relevant area such as performance attribution, portfolio optimization, trading, portfolio construction, stress testing, data science, etc.
Solutions Engineering experience or familiarity with the d1g1t solution or similar wealth technology solutions.
Programming experience in any language such as: R, Python, Julia, VBA or similar language for data analysis, scripting and prototyping a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, required. Master’s in a quantitative field and/or professional designation: CFA, CFP, CAIA, FRM or other is an asset.
Interest in solving complex problems, someone who can move fast, ask great questions, challenge the status quo and become a trusted resource for our prospective clients

But it is not enough to just have the technical requirements...we are looking for individual contributors that align to d1g1t Inc's Core Values:

Be Human - We collaborate to achieve positive & supportive relationships with our colleagues and clients, so being a team player is important!
Be Impactful - We make a difference. We strive to have a positive impact on our colleagues, clients, and society, so having a startup/growth mindset is beneficial!
