Position Summary

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management and execution of integrated client programs across assigned accounts. This individual will help coordinate work across internal teams, maintain clear and consistent client communication, and ensure priorities, deliverables, and commitments remain on track. The Senior Account Executive will also develop a strong understanding of each client’s business and DAC’s capabilities, take ownership of defined workstreams, and support account planning, retention, and growth.

What You’ll Do

Act as a dependable day-to-day contact for assigned clients, owning requests from briefing through follow-up and keeping commitments on track.
Take ownership of defined client workstreams and, where appropriate, smaller accounts, with guidance from the Account Director.
Prepare for and participate in client meetings, including agendas, materials, notes, action items and clear next steps.
Coordinate specialists across deliverables, timelines, approvals and dependencies, while flagging risks or out-of-scope work early.
Create polished client communications, presentations, reports and other account materials, with a strong eye for accuracy and detail.
Use AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of day-to-day account work, including research, meeting preparation, first drafts and synthesizing information, while applying sound judgment and protecting client confidentiality.
Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, objectives and performance, and help turn channel inputs into clear updates, actions and QBR materials.
Stay informed on client, industry, competitive and digital trends; bring forward thoughtful questions, issues and opportunities with context and recommendations.
Build a working knowledge of DAC’s capabilities, know when to bring in the right expert, and support account planning, retention and growth.

What You Bring

2-4 years of experience in an agency, digital marketing, media, communications, or related client-service environment.
Foundational knowledge of digital marketing, with an understanding of how areas such as SEO/GEO, paid media, analytics, local marketing, content, creative, and technology work together.
Experience supporting integrated digital marketing programs and working across multiple teams, ideally in a complex or multi-location client environment.
Strong communication, organization, project coordination, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep work moving.
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to take ownership, identify issues, and know when to escalate.
Naturally curious and proactive, with a genuine interest in learning, researching, asking questions, and understanding the “why” behind the work.
A willingness to do the homework, understand the client, the business, the industry, and what’s happening in the market.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and client/account or project management tools, with practical experience using AI tools to support research, drafting, organization, and analysis. Brings sound judgment to fact-checking outputs and handling client or confidential information.
