The expected hourly rate for this position is $25.00 in ON. The rate is subject to the amount outlined in the CBA and could change based on the level offered. Benefits are provided through a local labor union and aligned to the CBA.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Your Responsibilities
- Participate in formal apprenticeship training programs and complete required technical education.
- Learn the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.
- Support maintenance teams in performing equipment repairs and facility maintenance activities.
- Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Help diagnose equipment issues and support troubleshooting efforts alongside experienced technicians.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing mechanical components.
- Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Safely operate and properly utilize hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and service records.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while performing work.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s Degree or technical school HVAC certificate (preferred)
- 0-2+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Accepted as an Apprentice by Local Union 787
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
- Rotational Emergency Call Support availability as required
- Current first aid / CPR card (preferred)

Responsibilities
Participate in apprenticeship training while learning to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Support preventive and predictive maintenance, facility repairs, service documentation, and safe upkeep of tools and work areas.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree or technical-school HVAC certificate preferred; the role seeks 0–2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must be accepted as an Apprentice by Local Union 787, hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record, meet applicable licensing or training requirements, and be available for rotational emergency call support; first aid/CPR certification is preferred.
